Get your snow-pants, get your toque and book off your lunch next Wednesday the 19th! It’s time to be kids again! Snow soccer or snow-football will be played by both staff and students during lunch and followed up by a nice warm cup of hot chocolate! Bring your friends and spread the word. The more the merrier. If you have any questions or smack talk, find Mr. Ballagh and let him hear it!

What will you do to end Gender-Based Violence? Women Internationally face violence everyday. Last week, you all had the opportunity to purchase roses in support of the prevention of violence against women. This week, until Friday December 14th, you can support the 16 days of Activism against Gender-based violence. Need ideas for actions you can take? You can listen to or believe survivors, as well as speak out, intervene, and act on Gender-Based Violence. Lastly, you can donate to support survivors. Our school goal is only $64, but we think you can do better. Drop off your donation in the office, and take a selfie with the hashtag: #MyActionsMatter. All proceeds go towards the Huron Women’s Shelter.

Interested in volunteering? Looking for community service hours? Friends of Hullett are looking for high school students willing to come out and volunteer at Hullett Marsh, on January 4th, starting at 10am. Volunteers will work with staff on various tasks. See Guidance for more details.
