Drive Right Driving School

Drive Right Driving School will he hosting another 5 day course beginning on Tuesday, April 17. The course will be held here, at F.E.Madill. The dates of the course are April 17, 19, 24, 26 & May 1st from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Register online at or registration forms are available at the school office.


If you are interested in still purchasing a yearbook from last school year we still have a few copies available to purchase. Please see Mrs. Robinson in the main office and the price is $40.00.

Our School Survey

Attention all students – we need your voice! Starting later this week,students will be completing an anonymous, online survey called the “Our School” survey. Questions include topics such as behaviours and attitudes linked to student success, emotional and social well-being, and physical health. Mrs. McDade has been visiting period 1 classes to talk about the survey, specifically the two questions about F.E. Madill you have been asked to think about in advance. Here they are again : What do we do well, and what are you proud of at F.E. Madill? What do we need to learn to do better? Mrs. McDade, Mrs. Shore, and Mrs. Finch look forward to reading your responses as we work with all students to make F.E. Madill a positive and inclusive place to learn.

Discovery Week Healthcare Camp

Are you interested in work in the health care field? Would you like hands on experience with clinical skills such as casting, suturing, wound dressing and learning much more about the healthcare profession? If you said yes to this than we have the perfect summer camp for you! Discovery Week Healthcare Camp is being help right here in Wingham this coming July 3-6! Micheal Landsberg

Micheal Landsberg is a Canadian celebrity who worked for TSN Sports Desk and had his own show called Off the Record. He is also an individual who has been living with a general anxiety disorder and depression. He is currently working to help stop the stigma around mental health through awareness and his hashtag #sicknotweak. If you are interested in hearing him live on May 3rd in Exeter at 1:00pm then please come to guidance to sign up. There is no cost to students.

CPR/First Aid Course

This is a reminder of the CPR/First Aid course for the Secondary High Skills Major Students this April 17 and 18 in room 201 from 8:50am to 3:00pm

McMichael Gallery

A reminder to those attending the April 17th Art Trip to the McMichael Gallery to see Mr. Andrew with your permission form and fee before Friday. This is the largest collection of Group of Seven paintings in one place in Canada and you’ll learn to paint right in the gallery’s studio — join us at this one-of-a-kind location.


5-1-5 is celebrating the second full week of April by hosting a special guest speaker. Come out on Thursday at 11:35 in room 206. Did we mention that there will be free pizza? Bring a friend!

Battle of the Bots

Yesterday 7 of our grade 7 and 8 students travelled to Battle of the Bots at D&D Automation in Stratford. Both teams worked very hard to code their robots for each challenge, putting their collaboration and problem solving skills to work. The grade 7 team; Haley Brough, Shawna Schuit, Alannah Boylan and Sabrina Ruetz worked very hard as a new team and showed great perseverance! Congratulations ladies! Our grade 8 team also worked very hard together and received the best team work award. Congratulations Ainsley deGroot, Ally Barbour and Aliya Dauphin! So proud of the way you all took on the Battle of the Bots! Way to go Mustangs!!
