Be Well, Do well

Listen carefully to this announcement – there are prizes involved! At the all-school assembly in September, Mrs. McDade’s message to you was “Be Well, Do well”. She challenged staff and students to set personal goals to ‘be well’ and ‘do well’ this school year. Now that it’s October, Mrs McDade is following up on the challenge. Visit the main office to enter a draw which will be during our October 30 assembly. To be eligible, you must include your name and your personal goal. Don’t worry, your goal won’t be shared with the whole world – just your name would be called to win a fabulous prize! Details and entry forms are in the office. One entry per student. Be well and do well, Mustangs!

Come on out for the Turkey Toss, treats, and other games! Remember, Be thankful for the many privileges we have in Huron County, such as our safe roads. Let’s keep them like that. Drive sober. Avoid distractions. Make a plan to get home safely. Thank yourself later for making good choices.

Mustangs, your track and field team left early yesterday to their meet near Hamilton. This was no ordinary event as it was the Pre OFFSA meet with over 170 schools attending with their best runners. Each race had 300 runners all shoulder to shoulder at the start line battling for position. The top 5 Madill athletes were Joanna Schraa finishing 94th, Avery Harding finished 59th, Brownyn Garniss finished 26th, Mackenzie Finch finished 25th and Steven Schraa who finished in the top 10 less than a minute away from first. Special thank you to assistant coach Chirstina Schraa.
