Mental Health Awareness Week
This week is Mental Health Awareness Week at FE Madill. According to the Canadian Mental Health Association, it is estimated that 10-20% of youth are affected by a mental illness or disorder. That means in your class, there could 5-6 people in the class you are in right now who are struggling with their mental health. No one is immune – did you know that Toronto Blue Jay pitcher, Roberto Osuna and singer, Zayn Maik suffers from panic attacks, anxiety and disordered eating? We are starting #Madilltalks – let’s start asking how others are and really listen to their story.
