Drive Right Driving School be hosting a driving school here at F.E.Madill on November 6, 8, 13, 15 & 16 from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Register online at www.driverightschool.ca

Grade 12 Grad Photo

Grade 12 Grad Students need to go online to book your photo date and time. Grad photos will be taken on October 29th, 30th, 31st, Nov. 1st, Nov. 5th & Nov. 6th. If you need more information please come to the main office.

Specialist High Skills Major

This is a reminder for the students who are interested in entering the Specialist High Skills Major program to please get your forms in to Mrs. Armstrong in guidance right away. Forms must be in before October 30th.

Just a reminder that the information session for Western University is today at 9am, in the library seminar room. Sign up in Guidance.  

New Horizons

The New Horizons are having an All Call meeting to recruit more members and allow more youth to have their voices heard regarding, mental health and well-being; Come make your voice heard on Wednesday November 7th from 5pm to 7pm at the Huron Perth Centre. Maitland River Elementary

Please be a good neighbour! Maitland River Elementary School requests that students use respectful language around their young students. Sacred Heart School requests that students do not cross their property during arrival and dismissal. Father Morrison at Sacred Heart Church requests that students refrain from littering on sidewalks and in their parking lot. This parking lot is private property and littering infractions are subject to fines.

Costume Contest

Happy Hallow’s Eve Mustangs! Remember that tomorrow is Costume Contest day! Listen for an announcement at the start of lunch! Masks are not permitted (FYI)

Drama Guild

Drama Guild is to meet in the Drama Room at the start of lunch. All student council members NEED to meet in the large gym at 1145 to prepare for the assembly.

Junior Girls Basketball

The junior girls basketball team clinched first place with a 45-5 win in St. Anne’s yesterday. Led by great team defence from all players and five 3 pointers and 17 points from Sarah Macdonald, the team now receives a bye in the quarter finals and will host semi finals next Monday morning at 10:00.

Canned Food Drive

Today is the last day for the canned food drive. Please send any items collected down to the front foyer right after announcements. There will be a brief mustangs making a difference meeting today at the beginning of lunch in Ms Shields room

Olympic Athlete

Did you know our school has produced a current Olympic athlete? Did you know the coaches that trained her, are able to train you too? Come on out to Mr Cowan’s room 108 Thursday at lunch for more information on this years Nordic ski team. Open to students gr 7-12
