Huron Hospice

Have you lost a loved one to suicide and could use some support? If so, please come to guidance to get the information to register for a 6 week program that will help you heal. Huron Hospice is running this support group and it will meet at Sacred Heart School in Wingham starting Monday, May 7. Please come to guidance for more details.


Only four weeks left until Prom, grade twelves! Do you have your tickets yet? Tickets will be sold everyday during lunch in the front foyer. The cost is $25 a ticket, or $40 per couple.

Volunteer Hours

Wingham Legion are looking for students needing volunteer hrs to help them May 13 at the Legion with a meal and clean up. Will need students from 3:30-6:30. Check guidance window for more information.


Hola amigos! For those students travelling to Peru next June, there will be an evening information session for parents and students beginning at 7pm on Tuesday May 1st. Please plan on attending. If you are not yet signed up but considering this awesome adventure, please attend and talk to Mr. Andrew or Ms. Thiel. Secondary High Skills Major Program

Attention all students in the Secondary High Skills Major Program, Health and Wellness sector. There will be a short but important information session this Friday May 4 at 9am in the library commons concerning an exciting opportunity for a fun day away for certifications. There are limited spots so if interested in hearing this information please attend this meeting.

10-12 Women Interested In The Trades

Attention all grade 10-12 women interested in the trades. The Jill of all Trades event is being held at Conestoga college on a May 30. Don’t miss out on this hands on experience. See Mr Cowan or Mr Crawford for details.


There is an important OSAID meeting today in 305 at 11:35 in order for us to prepare for the conference, as well as OSAID awareness week. And Madill, as the nice weather finally approaches, remember that “Sober Driving today=Alive Tomorrow.”
