The Real Deal Skilled Trades Event for Females

AMDSB and the Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board are once again joining forces with several sponsors to inspire young women (grades 9 to 12) in Huron and Perth counties to consider a career in the skilled trades.

The  REAL DEAL on Skilled Trades event will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at the Stratford Rotary Complex.

Highlights of the event include a delicious dinner, information booths, guest speakers and mentorship.

Students and their parents will hear from a panel of young tradeswomen, and have the opportunity to ask about each woman’s career journey and experiences. They will find out what they need to begin doing now to pursue their future career goals and be motivated to blaze their own trail as a female in a non-traditional skilled trade.
